For several centuries cedar trees were widely used by North African and Asian People who lived in the mountains. Almost every activity of their life was accompanied by this tree. Canoes, homes, coffins were made of it. Each tribal ceremony needed a cedar pole being placed there. “Tree of life” - this is how they named it, so it is no surprise that it took a great place in the history of these people.
